I don't we all realize what type of impact or influence we have on our children. I learned this the other day through one of Brinley's comments. Nephi was walking around looking for the phone and after about 2 trips through the house he said to brinley, "do you know where the phone is?" To my surprise brinley responded and said, "I think it is on mommy's ear." I think I laughed for a good hour. I guess I must always be on the phone. Now I am going to try and limit my phone usage. Brinley is the cuttest.

I can hear Brinley's cute little voice saying those words. It's not that you're on the phone too much, it's just that you have a very practical and observant child, not to mention she speaks better than I do! You are so right about the impact we have on our kids. I am really trying to be more patient with the kidos so they will be more loving to eachother. They really do pattern my behavior. Being a mom can be a tough job at times, but we can do it!
That and they hear a whole lot more than you think they do. Take Chloe, I guess she overheard me talking to my mom about a hypothetical situation in which she may have to attend daycare one week on Mondays. Guess what she did today when school was over? She marched right up to her old daycare van and told them they were supposed to take her even though they haven't taken her after school for nearly three months. Guess who had a stressful afternoon trying not to lose it while figuring out where her daughter had gone off to. At least we have a happy ending and not some 10 o'clock news story this evening. A good lesson indeed! Watch what you say about hypothetical situations around your children. They are listening!
This is so cute! I think Brielle would say the same about me. We miss you guys. Kids are the best for a laugh...or a cry..or a ache. We wouldn't trade it for anyhting right? Glad you are feeling better.
